the debut Skinnerbox album, starts with a short retrospective of an agouraphobic year spent in New Orleans' French Quarter, and going on to gulp down the death of a loved one, with a little solipsism on the side and heaping help of dipsomania, the music turns on a brighter note, to a taste of attempted suicide as a means of avoiding adulthood; Strontium-90, scorpions and wedding cake, and the serio-comic(?) conclusions one may eventually come to at a point in a lifetime, and finally, whatever can be imagined as heralding the exit...
